Freedom Ranch, located in Hill County, TX about 65 miles south of Dallas and Fort Worth, is a transitional living facility for men seeking to develop a Christian lifestyle free from alcohol, illegal drugs and crime.
Our MissionIn a quiet rural setting free from the distractions a city brings, teach men how to apply Christian Biblical teachings to everyday life, not only spiritual but also personal, family and vocational.
A Brief OverviewIncorporated as a Texas non-profit corporation in 1997, Freedom Ranch started in Fort Worth, TX as simply a vision. It has progressed slowly providing counseling to men and women with addictive behaviors and criminal lifestyles. Today, Freedom Ranch is located on 81 acres of land just outside of Malone, TX. As God leads men and women to help support the ranch, the ranch is working to become a fully accredited vocational training center for men who have lacked direction in their lives and had their focus on alcohol, illegal drugs and criminal activity. We seek to teach well rounded life skills from a Judeo-Christian perspective. Our desire is to return men to their communities as mentors and examples of what Christian fathers should be.

by Ken Simmons, a former Texas Parole Officer to whom God gave the vision for
Freedom Ranch. Ken's desire is for Freedom Ranch under the direction of the Holy
Spirit to be a place where men, truly desiring a change in their lives, will
allow the power of God to fill them and make them the men God wants them to be.
